Hi, I'm Sterling!
This is the multi-faceted life of Sterling A. Grant.
I am proficient and still growing in the areas of fashion design/seamstress, photography, graphic design, video editing, and professional writing.
As a Communication major with a Digital Media Art minor, I live in the world of brand building, audience development, and visual displays of expression.
"Sterling" means excellent or valuable.
I bring this definition of my name to the table and keep it as my standard.
About Me :)
I'm a full-time student at Manhattan College living in the Bronx, New York. I'm majoring in Communication with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC). I have a minor in Digital Media Art. I am set to graduate in May 2025.
I'm excited to keep learning and immersing myself in the evolving world of advertising, digital art, and media. I am constantly looking for intersections between my lifelong passions and hobbies. This includes creating content for my businesses, aiding in promotional and event planning for organizations I am a part of, and putting together editorial photoshoots for my designs.
Empathy and problem-solving skills are my greatest strengths, and I'm always looking for new ways to express my creativity through my work. I constantly find myself taking on new challenges, and pushing myself to improve my skills with every piece of content I create.
Outside of my studies, you'll find me at pop-up flea markets for my curated clothing business, Sweet Heat Thrift, at my sewing machine for my design business, The Silver Lining, or finding new DIY tutorials to expand my horizons in the world of creating.
